Lead Sign Fabricator, Equipment Operator & Master Installer

Signs2U, a fast-growing, full-service sign and large-format print leader in Boise, is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Lead Sign Fabricator, Operator & Master Installer to spearhead our production and field operations.

This is a critical leadership role for a master craftsperson who manages end-to-end project execution—from operating high-tech machinery and leading shop fabrication to the safe and precise on-site installation of our completed signage.

Required Expertise and Core Responsibilities

The ideal candidate must possess mastery in the following areas:

  • Lead Fabrication: Serve as the technical lead for all shop fabrication, including material preparation, precise assembly, finishing, and quality control. You will oversee workflow to ensure projects exit the shop ready for installation.
  • Flatbed UV Printing: Expert setup, calibration, operation, and routine maintenance of our large-format flatbed printer. Responsible for color accuracy, media handling, and output efficiency.
  • CNC Routing: Precision operation, programming, and maintenance of our CNC router for cutting a wide range of substrates (e.g., acrylic, aluminum, wood, PVC).
  • Master Installation: Lead and execute the safe, high-quality installation of interior and exterior signage. This includes field measuring, site surveying, operation of heavy equipment (bucket truck/aerial lift), final site cleanup, and customer interaction.

Pay: $24.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
