Vehicle Wrap Questions

Vehicle wraps can be thought of as a very large, vinyl decal that will conform to the contours of your car or truck. Wraps allow you to advertise your business in a creative way — your vehicle becomes a mobile billboard.

We have wrapped commercial vehicles, fleet vehicles, box trucks, trailers, vans, boats, buses and even motorcycles. Non-vehicles can also be wrapped, such as refrigerators, mailboxes, walls and storefront windows. Bring us your idea and we’ll let you know if it can be wrapped!

We start with the elements of your brand and create a compelling, eye-catching wrap design to promote your business effectively. Once the design is finalized, we print on premium wrap material, which is then laminated for UV protection. The graphics are then ready to be installed.

The actual installation typically takes 1 to 3 days, depending on the size of the vehicle. Large vans and box trucks may take a little longer. The planning and design process can take a week or two. Overall, typical timing is about 2 to 3 weeks from start to finish.

With proper care, vinyl wraps typically have a life expectancy of 5 to 7 years. Signs2U provides a 2-year warranty on installation. Vinyl manufacturers warranty the materials for 2 years on horizontal surfaces and 3 years on vertical surfaces.

Absolutely! Wraps are easy to maintain as long as you follow a few simple tips. Hand-washing with soap and water is recommended. Avoid power washing and do not use an ice scraper on wrapped surfaces. Store the wrapped vehicle in a garage for maximum life expectancy.
