When Rick, owner of Intermountain Auto Glass, called us looking for a bid on a class A motor home wrap, we were instantly hooked. We have wrapped many trailers, trucks, cars, boats, etc. but not once had we wrapped a motorhome.
RV Wrap for Intermountain Auto Glass by Signs2uWe spent three weeks tweaking different designs and made sure that everything looked perfect before going to production. At that point we let our Roland printer do its job and print out a gorgeously huge wrap — three days later, we were ready to install.
We used a high gloss 3M laminate, on top of 3M Controltac Vehicle Wrap material for our media choices on this wrap. 3M is the original wrap material and because of it’s initial tack, and clean removability it was the obvious choice to put on the coach. The motor home had old graphics on it still, and because 3M’s material does such a great job covering old graphics we went directly over top.
After 2 days of taking the coach apart, we removed the ladder, the mirrors, the canopies, headlights, taillights, everything – we were finally ready to wash her down and install. The installation itself took almost 3 full days, the coach is really large and we made sure everything lined up and installed absolutely perfectly. This was a little slower than we had anticipated but the finished product really shows why taking an extra day is absolutely worth it.
Rick was ecstatic with the wrap and we are so proud to have been able to assist him and Intermountain Auto Glass with such a great project.w
