About Dr. Axtell: Andrea Axtell, MD was born and raised in Pendleton, Oregon. She received her undergraduate degree at Albertson College of Idaho (now College of Idaho). After graduation, she spent 3 years in Portland working in a microbiology lab at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU). While there, she participated in oncologic research and helped develop a clinical testing lab. Dr. Axtell was then accepted into the medical school at OHSU.
After receiving her medical education, Dr. Axtell completed internal medicine residency at Portland’s Legacy Health System and worked in a traditional internal medicine clinic for 3 years. Afterwards, Dr. Axtell branched out and opened Alliance Concierge Care to provide new, exciting medical services to the Boise area.
